My family and I stayed at Sugarloaf RV Resort & Cottages this past week, and we had an amazing experience. The property is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. There are plenty of amenities for the whole family to enjoy, and the water activities made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect—close enough to Key West to enjoy everything it has to offer while still providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend Sugarloaf RV Resort & Cottages to anyone looking for a great family getaway. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and look forward to returning in the future. 100% recommended!

Elizabeth was exceptional assisting us with any needs we had during our stay. The location as perfect with the variety of activities in Key West and Marathon. Best place to be if you like several choices. Beautiful ambiance and amenities. Great place to stay in the RV.

We had a great experience staying at Sugarloaf RV Resort. The customer service was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Pool was little small and could get somewhat crowded at times, but it was still very manageable. The amenities were awesome and really added to the experience. Overall, we had a great time there and would definitely come back again. Great place to stay in the Keys!

NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY AND NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY. WORST EXPERIENCE. We were really excited to come to this RV park. Everything we saw online showed it as amazing and the site boasted the park as "big rig friendly". We even called to confirm our rig size and the size of our truck with the facility before booking. That is the biggest false advertising scam Ive seen in our time RV-ing. Our experience here has been so stressful when we are supposed to be on vacation. We have a 42' long 5th wheel and a Dual Diesel truck to tow it. The first turn into the park was so tight, we barely fit onto the road (and we followed the map we were given)... the first turn was also cluttered with bicycles and cars parked too far into the road and it was a nightmare making the turn on the road into the park. When we pulled up to our pull through site, we were so disheartened. It was a straight site and not angled for proper pull through. It was at an impossible 90° angle from the road and our rig was not fitting in there with even the best maneuvers. The lot was too crowded in the area to even attempt to back in to the site. We called the after hours number and managed to find a space on the end that we would actually fit into temporarily until the office opened the next day. We barely fit in the site even backed all the way up to the waterfront. We had no where to park our truck except right next to the Rv which was fine because the other spaces were empty. Once spaces filled up we realized even parked close to our rig, we were still too close to the space next to us. We went up to the front office to ask about alternate parking. We were told by some rude person that we could park up the road by the front office (which is about half a mile down the road from the actual park) but as a wheelchair user this was going to be very difficult for me. Was I supposed to wheel down there? Be dropped off and sit there while I wait for my husband to walk half a mile back to me? The front desk worker said handicap people parked fine up there. I find this to be discriminatory in nature and dismissive. We have parked at so many wonderful parks and maneuvered plenty of tight spaces. This park is a joke and packs people in here like sardines while lying to their customers about being big rig friendly. We should have read the yelp reviews before coming here. We will never reccomend this place to anyone unless you have a tiny rig, ok with super packed tiny spaces, and an office staff who doesn't care about trying to help their guests find a solution to issues that arise.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sugarloaf RV Park! Our bungalow was adorable, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool area was nice and relaxing, and we especially enjoyed all of the wildlife around the property. Seeing the lizards, iguanas, and even Key deer made the experience feel uniquely “Florida Keys” and added so much charm to our trip. The location was perfect for what we needed, and having Mangrove Mama’s right across the street was a huge bonus. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and we found ourselves looking forward to going there. One of the highlights of our stay was Elizabeth in the office. She was an absolute gem — so kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. She truly made us feel at home. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for such a relaxing and memorable stay!

My family and I spend 3 nights here. The rooms are new and clean, they provide stove and all basic kitchenware. The beds are comfy and every room is equipped with. The staff is very helpful, they provide guidance and recommendations. If not for the lady at the front desk we would have missed so many great locations. If you need drinks, swimming equipment, sunscreen or swimming gear - it can be found here too. Additionally, picnic and barbecue zones are available together with their warm pool, free bikes and free kayaks. Personally, this place has everything I needed and definitely surpassed my expectations.

A truly beautiful little place with everything you need. The houses are very well equipped and thoughtfully designed, so you immediately feel comfortable and at home. I especially loved the calm and relaxed atmosphere – exactly what you hope for during a vacation. There is also a small pool, which is perfectly enough to cool off and relax. For us, it was simply perfect. The location is also ideal as a starting point to explore the other Keys, while still being a peaceful place to unwind. We really enjoyed our stay and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. If life allows us to come back here one day, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful time! We loved our stay in the two bedroom cottage! It was super clean and updated. We had some problems with the air conditioning units, but the resort employees were super helpful and provided fans and a partial refund. I also enjoyed going out on the lake in the paddle boats that were provided. The proximity to Key West was great too and we could easily make it in 25 mins. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place but the spaces are too small as you can see in the photos. The office is about 1/2 mile down the road, also where the laundry room is. The pool was nice. The website show white blow up seats near the water, they were all deflated near the back of the pond. We were near the bathrooms & dog wash. Someone was blasting music as they were washing their dog that we had to go inside our rv. Seems there wasn't anyone from the resort to handle this. They have a Tiki Hut with a food truck that was never open and 1 day they had entertainment. For the price this is not worth it. If you have a Big rig DO NOT go here. Very tight!! We will not be back.

Wow! This oasis is a 5-star find. We were fortunate to get a great rate via booking.com and it has been SUCH a good time here. We may be the first folks to stay in this bungalow- that’s how clean and modern and well taken care of it feels. The staff have been friendly, the overall vibe is colorful and FUN. Big perk too is being just outside of the “big city” known as Key West -> Lots going on there that’s super fun, but coming back to the bungalow gives that extra unwind serenity we were looking for. Could not recommend this spot enough to anyone lucky enough to get to stay here. We really felt like we were on vacation here. One more thing! We came here as a couple, but this would be such a great girls weekend escape!
