Bahia Bay Resort is a secluded, boutique-style accommodation praised for its spacious, often two-storey rooms and stunning natural views, framed by a critical disagreement regarding entry access protocols.
This location is absolutely magical. I had such a relaxing stay swimming in the bay and pool. The family who owns the place were welcoming and helped us me with recommendations for things to see and places to eat.
I stay in the Keys often for work, and this was my first time staying here. It will absolutely be the hotel I come back to again and again. I have already booked my next two stays because I truly do not want to stay anywhere else. The property is spotless, incredibly peaceful, and so quiet in the best way. It just feels calm the second you arrive. Everything about it was pleasant and easy, which is exactly what you want after long work days. One of my favorite parts was the dock. Make sure you spend time out there. I spotted giant tarpon, a manatee and her baby, and even a dolphin. It was unreal. 10 out of 10. I cannot wait to return.
This perfect little boutique hotel was the perfect place for us to stay in the keys. So private and beautiful. Most bang for your buck in the Florida keys. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. I went with my girlfriend for our first trip together. The place is romantic and private. We wanted to get an Airbnb but they were too expensive for crappy apartments. This place served better than an Airbnb bc it was like an Airbnb hotel. No check in desk its like a littlw apartment with an upstairs loft and veryy spacious rooms. We were so happy with the property, pool, hot tub, and dock with Adirondack chairs for the sunsets. The property is lit up romantically at night. There is a private gate entrance and I just highly recommend this place and I cant wait to come back. So affordable and Michael is such a nice accommodating professional man. Gave us an extra 45 minutes to check out and great suggestions for surrounding places to eat and visit. 5 stars.
After years of hopping between luxury spots and big-name hotels in the Upper Keys, we finally found the one. Bahia Bay Resort isn’t just another place to stay — it’s the kind of place you start planning your return to before you even check out. Check-in is at 4 PM, which we were told ahead of time, and it was well worth the wait. The entire property is pristine — every corner of the grounds is clearly cared for with intention. But the real surprise? Our room. It wasn’t just spacious — it was two full stories of thoughtfully designed comfort. Way beyond expectations. The pool setup is ideal: a beautiful main pool and a hot tub that’s actually hot. The beach area has two piers where you can sit, relax, and take in the most incredible sunsets. It’s quiet, serene, and exactly the kind of view you dream of when heading to the Keys. Bahia Bay just has a different energy. Quiet luxury meets relaxed island life. We’ll be back, again and again — this place is a keeper.
For our anniversary we booked a one night stay at this property from Saturday to Sunday, we were not able to arrive Saturday and when we got there on Sunday we were denied entry. We explained to the person on the phone (you have to call a number to get in) DENIED ENTRY and ven though it was still within the term of the contract agreement. We explained that we only wanted to use The Restaurant swimming pool and beach side. The person on the phone was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Stay away from anywhere where you are not treated with kindness and Respect.
This is the best hotel in the upper keys. No doubt about it. I have stayed at the luxury hotels and the chain hotels. This is the most beautiful. Check in is firm for 4pm. The grounds are immaculate. The room was huge, two stories! The pool, hot tub and kiddie pool are perfect. The beach and view are just what you want in the keys. We will be back many many times
Absolutely stunning rooms. Perfect location for wedding or romantic getaway. The hot tub is perfectly heated, the pools are not heated. My daughter went snorkeling at the beach there. There's free private parking with a clicker and gate. Wine cooler & mini fridge in the room and gorgeous stairs leading to a loft. Our room has 3 beds. Absolutely looking forward to the sunset and sunrise. Peaceful and luxurious. Michael is super helpful.
Stayed there this past July and it was amazing over all. If you go there make sure you don't leave any open food in there or have it completely sealed. They were very upfront about this though, so respect. The price was reasonable, the room was immaculate, and the shower was nice. There was a giant walk-in closet in my room and an extra bed upstairs. I really wish I could have stayed longer. The view outside is stunning, and i truly felt I was in paradise here.
We stayed here 4 nights. All I can say is, it's an oasis. No one bothers you. You can opt for daily room service if you want but other than that, you pretty much have it to yourself. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have kayaks and paddle boats to go out on the water. Great sunset's every night. Large pool and hot tub. Perfect for a romantic getaway.
