My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this little gem and enjoyed the sunsets. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach ?? is very well kept with plenty of umbrellas and tables and chairs. We booked the room because of the positive reviews. By the way the breakfast was also good ? We learned how to make fritatas. We would book here agaln.

I booked our stay based on reviews/ratings - found out not a lot of places actually have a sandy shoreline like Seafarer does; often its just rocks and docks. So that was an immediate win. The beach area is smaller and intimate, shared by all guests, but being able to get in the water easily was so nice. We saw a manatee at sunset our first night here! We also enjoyed the many different seating options: chairs and tables with umbrellas, sun chairs, a little table outside our cottage (unit 6) and a picnic table on the dock...it was so great to have choices. As a former vacation property manager and head of housekeeping, cleanliness standards in our unit get a solid approval. Clean sheets, clean extra blankets, and a freshly laundered bedspread. Clean towels. Clean floors, clean shower toilet and sink. Kitchen area and fridge also in great shape. Nothing smelled bad, nothing sticky. And they did a towel/trash refresh for us during a 2 night stay; we really appreciated that. Units are vintage with modern elements, and they did a good job sanitizing for our stay. Guest laundry on site, water/pop machine, beach towels in the office.. SUPER close to LOTS of food, gas, shopping spots. Beach houses are durably constructed so wifi doesnt penetrate our unit well, but who CARES when you're in the keys!! Cold AC, firm bed, great shower, ample kitchenette; nice light breakfast offerings- frittatas were yummy. Would stay again. Thank you, Seafarer staff.??

This place is a gem! I loved the old Florida feel with modern amenities. The rooms are nice and clean. The outside breakfast area is adorable with a café style area to hang out with other guests. The food is delicious! ? Looked forward to the muffins and frittattas every morning. Having your own private beach was wonderful! I spent most of my week there. Relaxing and beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful with anything you need. Will definitely return!

Overall experience was great. Had trouble getting our rental car after flying into Miami. We said we'd be a little late and arrive after check-in hours and they were able to accommodate us no problem. We love these little sea side kind of motels and cottages and the Seafarer didn't disappoint. Quaint clean rooms with the necessities. View was great. Breakfast was good too. Not an all you can eat buffet, but enough to get the day started. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would book again if we find out way back to the keys.

Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. Robert at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms have the charm of the old Florida vibe and feel like you traveled back to the 60’s. A very good thing in my opinion! The rooms are clean and cozy. The private beach is absolutely breathtaking and never too crowded. All the guest are so friendly. This place is also not the teenage loud party experience. It is more of quiet, calming, “forget about your problems” experience that I needed very badly. Free kayaking was a major bonus! We will be back. Thank you Seafarer 10/10 ?

The rooms are clean, but ours was a little small. But to be honest, we didn't come here to sit in the room. I didn't even turn on the TV because we are more interested in the beautiful outdoors, sunsets, and wildlife here on Key Largo. There are even some squirrels, but we came to see lizards, manatees and ibis and regrets. The breakfast was on-site cooked muffins and egg bites, all homemade. There was also coffee and juice. They were tasty. There was also yogurt and Lorna Doone cookies for a quick grab and go. They light up the trees in the evening and have tiki torches. There is a small private beach and free kayaking from 8-5ish. I think it may be closed an hour before sunset so everyone has time to get back in before its dark. Proprietor was very friendly and even had beach towels for guest use for free. Lovely, old world keys feeling.

Stayed Nov 20-23, 2025 Quaint old school Travel Lodge thats been turned into a small resort . The Beach and Grounds are better then the room, but the room is clean , comfy bed, decent h20 pressure, endless hot h20. AC is a window unit , idk how that will perform in the Summer. My room was at the front of the resort , so i heard road noise all thru out the night. Free Coffee in the AM @ 0730 hrs. Recommend and will return, but get a room at the back of resort .

The Seafarer is our go to place every time we go to the keys. We much rather stay here than a $250-$400 room. They’re so nice and accommodating. They have a great little breakfast continental breakfast in the morning with coffee and muffins and egg bites. The housekeeping and the manager is amazing. They got a great little Dock for watching the sunset and a little place to swim plenty of room for your car you don’t have to worry about anything getting broken in. It’s like a old 1950s motel and we love it.
