Please read, this is a geeat hotel. The hotel is made up of 4 separate buildings 2 floors each with no elevators. When we first arrivedand still in the front parking lot, I was so disappointed with our decision to pick this hotel. Then I found out that there was no elevators and it looked like an updated motel from the 60s. I was regretting my life choices. We checked in and I was so disgusted that we had to lug our overpacked luggage up to the second floor. Within an hour I was delighted with the choice of selecting this hotel. The stairs issue was no longer a thing. I toured the grounds and they have the most beautiful courtyard with lots of seating and shade. 2 swimming pools and a cabana bar between them that you can order food at and eat anywhere outside. The hotel borders a marina that offers reasonable and priced as expected, snorkeling, glass bottom boat, diving, private and group fishing adventures. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean and updated to modern standards. We stayed in room 258 and the view to the marina from the balcony was second to none with no baking sun while you are on it at anytime of the day. I gave the room 4 stars only because of the steps to the second floor. There are no steps needed for any first floor room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. This hotel is right in the middle of Key Largo. It has a lagoon right next to it, where you can catch a boat to take you to the coral reefs, that are excellent dive locations. Boaters are what drives this area as there are so many shallow coves and places to visit in this calm water. We mostly just relaxed and it is wonderful for that. Definitely will visit again, hopefully soon.

She greeted us with a smile, was very kind and welcoming, and made check-in quick and easy. She answered all of our questions and made us feel right at home. Her excellent customer service really made a difference in our stay. Thank you, Precious, for being so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this hotel.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at Holiday Inn! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making my stay relaxing from start to finish. What truly made this experience exceptional was Shirley at the front desk. She is, without a doubt, one of the best employees I have ever encountered. Shirley went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always greeting me with a warm smile, a positive attitude, and genuine kindness. She was incredibly professional, patient, and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and answering every question with care. It’s rare to meet someone who truly loves what they do, and it shows in the way Shirley treats every guest. She made me feel like more than just another customer she made me feel genuinely appreciated. Employees like Shirley are the reason people return. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone looking for outstanding customer service and a comfortable stay. Thank you, Shirley, for making my visit such a memorable one.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn, Key Largo for 4 nights 7/13-7/16/2026. We had a marina view 2nd floor room, nicely renovated and extremely clean. Marina view from our balcony was so nice. Most of all Sharika(front desk) and Luis and Jean(breakfast dining room servers) so pleasant, great service. Truly a tropical paradise. We will be returning.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The pool and amenities are great, the kids had the most fun swimming at the pools and having smoothies pool side. For the price you can’t beat this spot. Rooms were efficient , location was central to everything , we will definitely stay again .

We enjoyed everything here! We liked the hotel amenities especially the pool with the waterfall! It was large with perfect water temperature. There is a second pool and also a large hot tub. The birds and iguanas were a treasure to observe also!! Having Bogie's Cafe outdoors as a tiki hut next to the pool was fabulous. Their food and dtinks were good and the guys there provide great friendly service! The lovely palm trees and foliage were spectacular as well. Our room was very nice with 2 very comfortable queen beds. The 4 pillows were exceptionally comfortable! They had 4 different softnesses to them: softness, medium firm, firm and I can't remember the 4th one. My knees thank you also. The bathroom was clean and had a grab bar. There was good lighting (regular and softer) at the double sink. The table size in the bedroom was great for eating as well as for doing makeup. We asked for the first floor "pool view" room but we couldn't see the pool, lol. The a/c worked well. This Holiday Inn is well-located. You can walk right next door to Key Largo Princess Glass Boat Tours and leave your car at the hotel. You can also walk next door to Dunkin and a grocery store. Everything is conveniently close by: restaurants, shops, parks, boats, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, paragliding, boating, camping, etc. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We appreciated Sharika C, who checked on us everyday to make sure we were happy. She provided great service. We will definitely be back next trip to the Keys.

Decent little hotel. We stayed here because everything was sold out for the F1 races. Check in was easy and they had plenty of rooms. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. Our neighbors were a little loud but it's the keys the tiki bar was pretty nice and the pool looks inviting

If you are looking for a Florida Keys getaway without breaking the bank, this is a fantastic place to stay. This isn't a fancy place by any means, but what it is is a reputable establishment with clean rooms and comfortable beds. It's not perfectly manicured like resorts that charge $500+ a night so keep your expectations in check. What it does have is a great pool area that is well maintained with two clean pools, one slightly cooler than the other (this is on purpose, to give guests of all tastes a choice) and a comfortable hot tub. The pool area is nicely landscaped with the tropical plants and trees you would expect in The Keys. The tiki bar serves simple, reasonably priced tropical drinks that taste great. The breakfast buffet is a great value and they serve delicious coffee. What makes this Holiday Inn stand out, however, is just how friendly and attentive their staff are. Everyone from the front desk to breakfast buffet service staff, to the tiki bar staff (special thanks to Donna for being such a great host) made our four night getaway memorable. If you want a no-frills, clean, comfortable place to stay that is located equal distance to all of the restaurants, shopping, and activities in Key Largo, this is the place. We'll be back for sure.

Our company reserved a conference room for the entire day and booked numerous guest rooms for employees and their spouses. Despite the size of the reservation, many of us have been waiting in the lobby since 7:00 a.m. for our rooms to be ready. During that time, we have watched two buses leave the property while those rooms remain unavailable, yet several rooms were given to walk-in guests. That is extremely frustrating for guests who have reservations and have been patiently waiting for hours. I completely understand that loyalty status may influence room assignments, but many of us are also members and feel completely ignored. When a hotel hosts a large corporate group, there should be better planning and communication. It’s disappointing to see that after feedback last year, the level of customer service still hasn’t improved.
