I would give this hotel ZERO stars if I could. Our experience at Reefhouse Resort & Marina was completely unacceptable, and the way my missing property was handled made it even worse. I left my AirPods in the hotel room, and I have a photo taken before checking out of the room that clearly shows the AirPods were there. After we left, I realized they were missing. I immediately contacted the hotel because I expected them to take responsibility and at least seriously investigate what happened. What makes this especially upsetting is that the AirPods were in the room before we left, and they disappeared afterward. I provided proof of this, yet I was still unable to get a satisfactory resolution. When I called, I was referred to housekeeping where I was met with nothing but rudeness and disrespect. The person who answered the phone showed no intention in helping me find my missing item. They said they checked the room I was in and found nothing which is not true because I HAVE PROOF that it was in there before I left. When you stay at a resort, you should be able to trust that your belongings are safe in your room. You should not have to worry about your personal property disappearing after housekeeping enters the room. For a resort that presents itself as a high quality property, I expected much better accountability, communication, and customer service. Instead, I left feeling like my concerns were not taken seriously. I called the hotel multiple times and they even made me fill out a form with my missing item and said I would received an email back which I haven’t (it’s been 3 weeks). I strongly recommend keeping your valuables with you at all times if you stay here, because based on my experience, I would not feel comfortable leaving anything valuable in a room here. We checked out on July 28 at 10:47 a.m. which is shown in the picture down below. I am honestly just really glad I took the pictures of the room before leaving because they showed me what type of a hotel this place was. Absolutely disgusting!!! Don’t go to this hotel unless you want your items stolen. This experience completely ruined my impression of the resort. A hotel should make guests feel safe and respected! NOT leave them wondering what happened to their belongings.

Rude employees. Old hotel We had problems with check-in and the front desk agent. They changed some rules that we did not know about and instead of her being nice about it, she was curt and rude. She also did not inform me of charges on my card, but we took care of that. We stayed last year and had a problem with you guys harassing our guests who are locals and staying with us. They had not received their wristbands yet and we're just parking their bicycles to come in the hotel and get them when the security started harassing them. They harassed them for two days about riding their bikes. Even when they were wearing their wristbands, they did not like the fact that they rode their bikes to the hotel. You guys banged on our door at midnight to drop off coffee that we didn't have because they gave us coffee for two guests, not four. Their turn down service only turned down the main bedroom no one else's beds. The turn down service only consists of turning down a corner of the master bedroom bed and closing the curtains. That was it. Also there's a lot of building deterioration and rot on our doors. We rented a two bedroom suite that cost me $1500 for two days plus food and drinks at the barand all there are all of these issues. And I don't want to complain about free things, but we had four guests in our room and they gave us one split of champagne and two glasses as our welcome drink. When we asked for an additional bottle and two glasses for our other guests, they said no and that we could share it. This was the same front desk agent that was rude to us at the beginning of our check-in. I wish I caught her name. We did their survey and asked for them to contact us and they gave us a generic message saying "sorry we address this with our team". That completely reinforced my decision to not return. Not caring about your guests is just poor business. That all being said, the Barr stuff was amazing, all the bartenders make great drinks and are very friendly! The bar food was delicious as well. We've stayed two years in a row, and we will not be coming back. There are way too many hotels in that area to be treated poorly on all of our vacations

Stay here. This place was just what we wanted . Our tastes in places to stay may not be the same as everyone. Staff all super helpful.You wouldn't have to leave to be entertained. So they accomplished that at this resort. Now with that said you would not be doing the Florida Keys justice if you didn't leave , but you wouldn't be disappointed if you stayed. Will definitely consider staying here on our next visit. Only reason we wouldn't would be to be more centered on the keys to do our day trips either direction. And yes one of our day trips would be to come back to Reef house Resort for a meal and boat adventure. Shout out to Bobby on our eco adventure, Found us Dolphins ,Maniti on our boat trip. Excellent. Perfect spot for Sunsets. Great evening atmosphere.You won't be disappointed. Not meant to be a high tech business hotel, it is a laid back perfect vacation resort. I am hoping that is why you have come to the Keys for anyway. Loved the bracket room key, that was new to me .See ya there?

Beautiful property right on Key Largo Bay. Our bay front room had an incredible view, and the sand beach and pool area were great spots to relax and soak it all in. The setting really is the star here. Two things held it back from a 5-star stay: the bed was way too hard and the shower water pressure was extremely low — both things you don't want after a long day in the Keys sun. Would still recommend it for the location and atmosphere, but hoping those room issues get addressed.

Loved our stay! We were here for 3 nights in the beginning of June. The resort was not crowded at all, and there were lots of spaces to go if you wanted some quiet. Everything had an amazing view of the water. The highlights of our stay were the sunsets. Only critiques I have is that I wish they had more gluten free options in the onsite restaurants, and I wish there was more nightlife in the surrounding area. The resort was quiet in the evening which was nice. It also seemed very family friendly. The property is clean, well maintained, updated, all the staff are BEYOND friendly and always looking for how they can improve your stay. The rooms were well kept and the beds were comfortable. Great communication throughout the stay from the front desk. Everything is really walkable at the resort. They had rare plants noted on their map, and we loved doing a scavenger hunt of sorts trying to find them. We even used the onsite dive shop (Pirates Cove) for snorkeling and had a great time. The poolside bar was one of our favorite stops for drinks and food. They had great mocktails too.

Just wrapped up an amazing stay at the Reefhouse Resort & Marina and couldn’t say enough good things about it. The entire experience was top notch from the moment we checked in. The staff was incredibly friendly, the property was beautiful and relaxing, and the atmosphere was exactly what you want when staying in the Keys. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the views were incredible, and everything from the pool to the beach had that perfect laid back island vibe. Whether you’re looking to relax, grab great food and drinks, or enjoy everything Key Largo has to offer, this place checks every box. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great experience. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect Keys getaway

We had an incredible time at the Reefhouse Resort!! Reading the reviews before our trip had me wondering about a few things - which is why I wanted to write the review. The service was 10/10 - incredible people work here. We booked here because we love the opal resort in Acadia. The rooms were slightly underwhelming - but by no means cut into our overall experience. They were clean, and room service was standard, provided every day. What I loved the most about this place was that the pool was incredible - lots of kids that all played well together - and the beach was a huge plus - private and safe to swim in. Lots of seating and lounges with plenty of shade to keep you very comfortable. Location was 10/10 with plenty of experiences nearby to have all the fun you need on vacation. I saw a lot of reviews saying this place was noisy, but we had zero problems with that! Another huge plus was the shower had incredible water pressure - which can be a rarity depending on where you go. I would definitely go back, and recommend this place if you’re looking for something that has fun and relaxation for all. We also loved the restaurant for lunch and dinner - the breakfast wasn’t our favorite - but head to high tide for the perfect breakfast right down the road.

Our stay here was great. Everyone was very friendly. The beach was small but very nice. Great size pool. This time I didn't have my kids with me but I would definitely bring them here next time. Access to rent watersports right at beach. Rooms were very clean. Walking distance to a restaurant and close to many others.

This is our 2nd stay at the Reef House with my family. (2 adults, 2 small children). The staff here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The pool and the beach are close together, which makes it so easy for the kids to run back and forth. The food at all of the places on site is delicious and easy to order! We absolutely love it here and will be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing resort okay. The complimentary wine was a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were roomy and clean, and the balcony offered stunning views. They have a pool and private beach access. The dining options within the resort were impressive and delicious, and the early check-in was greatly appreciated. Would gladly return.
