Booked a 3-night stay well in advance and paid for a room with a view. I was given a room with a view of dumpsters and the highway. When I returned to the desk after discovering this, I was told it was a glitch on the booking company's end and not theirs (not sure if this is actually true - will review that company if I somehow can figure out if it's true or not). They said they were booked and couldn't help us. They'd look for an upgrade the second day, if we ask at 9 a.m.. We'll see. May raise review if they make good on it. Update: We returned to our room after a brief walk of the facility and found a hand-written note and some goodies apologizing for the room type confusion, and reiterating that they'd try to make good on it tomorrow. That was unexpected and very kind. Final update: Manager made good on our room change, without us asking - called us multiple times until they made contact. Room change was good (actually had a view, 3rd floor, and a balcony!). As an FYI, it seemed to me that there are only a small handful of rooms without balconies or patios. Certain front desk associates much more helpful than others. Seemed 50/50. Resort location amazing, and facility and amenities beautiful. Beach chairs and umbrellas available to borrow at the front desk.

An okay Marriott property in a good location. Be aware of $50 in daily added costs for parking and a daily resort fee that provides few added benefits. WiFi is poor, even in the rooms (at least in ours - regularly goes out). Staff is nice and rooms are clean. Not sure I would stay here again given costs/benefits.

Lynn at the front desk truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly proactive in anticipating our needs. She took the time to ensure every detail was taken care of and made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued as guests. Exceptional service like Lynn’s makes all the difference and is the reason we would happily return to this Marriott. She is an absolute asset to the hotel—thank you SO much Lynn, for making our stay so wonderful!

There are marriott courtyards but then there is the faro blanco marriott courtyard resort. While tgis hotel may be a 3 star hotel but this experience was 5 star. The staff takes real pride in service and it really shows. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The waterfront views are spectacular and the amenities are on point and well kept. I saw a bike technician tuning up all of their rental.bikes which were included in resort fee and the grounds crews were constantly doing upkeep on the premises. All of this effort made tge stay really relaxing and enjoyable.

Rooms were pretty clean...renovations happening here and there, staff was great. Very helpful and friendly. We were there for Thanksgiving. Neighboring property has a marina, and restaurant that served Thanksgiving dinner. 2 different pools, 1 with a great view of the gulf. Kayaks and bicycles available to use as a guest (i believe at no fee) will definitely return.

We stayed at this hotel by happenstance for work a couple of years ago, and loved it so much that we’ve now stayed there three times. The views are amazing and the staff is always more than friendly. Other resorts have a great view, but at the Courtyard Faro Blanco, we truly find peace at sunset. Hope we can always continue to come back year after year!

Clean Rooms, updated property, the amount of pool chairs reserved for paid customers was ridiculous, this isnt Vegas, give me a break. The male day bartender Kendall? is not very personable-He was working on Thanksgiving, he was slow and could not multi-task- no amount of motivation could make him go quicker many people with a 15 wait for a drink. The night bartender lady could outpace him by 3 times and knew her business well and was nice. The free beer and wine ticket at the front desk was great. The room was good size but we requested a balcony and didn't get one, they were full and nothing to switch us to. The Pizza was good. The front desk staff and the manager were very nice. We didn't eat breakfast there or any other meals. Room service took too long, we were done at the pool, wanted to come up and change and go to different places in Marathon but had wet towels, etc. The Marina pool was not heated, it was cold. The daily parking fee and the resort fee always makes me cringe, just charge more for your room if you feel the need.

I loved this resort. We decided to have a weekend getaway with the little ones and we encountered this hotel at a decent price. To start I have to say that all the employees that i encountered from the check in to the breakfast bistro and the bar were all great and serviceable. Now the room was big and comfortable, the sofa bed was not very comfortable to sleep so be aware if you plan to use it. Room had a fridge and microwave which are always a must for us. Once you are checked in you can also use the amenities of the neighbor hotel which we didn’t do by i thought it was cool if you are staying more days. The hotel has 2 pools which we checked both out and they were not to big but nice enough. What i would say is that you would encounter a lot of adult couples or adult families relaxing. It’s not really tailored for families with small children. Plenty restaurants in the area and close by beaches.

This is our 4th year staying at the Courtyard Marriott Faro Blanco Resort. We keep returning because this is a great place! The location is absolutely beautiful, the hotel is meticulously maintained, modern, exceptionally clean, quiet & the amenities are wonderful. The staff make the stay. We had a great experience every morning with a freshy made and delicious breakfast with Carlene Dixon. Her beautiful smile and personality always make the start to our day a great one. The bartenders, Roberto, Angela & Kendall took great care of us all week. Delwin, at the front desk took care of any needs we had, including a new hairdryer (which arrived to our room less than 5 minutes after asking for one). We used the free bikes this visit and biked to the seven mile bridge. The bikes were new and comfortable, easy to ride. The pool and views are just spectacular. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Marathon!!!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights. Plenty of parking, friendly staff and easy check in. Very spacious room that could use a bit of maintenance. 3rd floor has water pressure issues and hot water was only slightly warm. Good location for Marathon and we would be happy to return but would stay on the seconnd floor.
