Hilton Garden Inn Key West, The Keys Collection offers a modern island escape with stylish accommodations and convenient amenities. Located on North Roosevelt Boulevard, the hotel provides easy access to Old Town Key West, pristine beaches, and vibrant local attractions. Guests can relax by the resort-style pool, enjoy tropical cocktails, or explore the charm of the Florida Keys.
The Hilton Garden Inn Key West offers a convenient location near the highway and the trolley tour route, but it’s showing its age with dated furnishings and occasional maintenance issues. While some guests praise the friendly staff and pool area, others have reported concerns regarding cleanliness, noise, and hidden fees – like breakfast and parking.
Neither great nor terrible, but the property is definitely showing some wear and tear. The lobby is clean, though it feels nearly empty, likely because breakfast costs an additional $18. The pool area did not have clean towels available during our stay. Overall, it was a bit disappointing, though not the worst value for the price. The hotel could benefit from some updates and refreshing. It would also be nice if breakfast were included, especially since parking comes with an additional fee as well.
Good location right off the highway ?perfect for us since we drove in .. the hotel is on the trolley tour route so you can hop on and off all day .. they do offer a shuttle to downtown “round trip” book at front desk . The rooms felt small for me and wife ..no microwave .. breakfast buffet 18$ per person..not expected but was okay .. hotel is in need of a serious refresh! The elevator on the side we were had an order I can’t describe, was not good .. the staff was okay but not rushing to get nothing done”island time ????” ocean view from my balcony was awesome and relaxing in morning w/ coffee. For the price it was okay , the grounds were nice and there’s a party place on sister property .. I’d love to see them paint clean and refresh.. we had no issues with paid parking..safe area food close by
Rooms were very clean, tv remote wasnt working but someone was sent right away to fix it. Staff at the first desk were very polite and checked in often to make sure the stay was going smoothly. Ryan the bartender at the pool was friendly and easy to talk to. The pool felt clean and warm. Little loud next to the pool but that is to be expected if you want to hsve a room near it. Lots of parking and easy access.
We had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Key West. Even as locals, this was the perfect quick getaway. Marcelo at check in was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, welcoming, and made everything seamless from the start. The pool experience really stood out. Ryan went above and beyond, offering drinks while we were still in the water and making it feel like a true resort day without ever needing to leave our chairs. Service like this makes all the difference. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, elevated experience in Key West.
Solid resort with fantastic service and ease of access to downtown. Stayed one night for a business trip. I read other reviews about the noise from traffic and chickens, I did not have any issues with noise except for a few loud mufflers during morning traffic. I was in room 245, pool view. Condition of the room was noticeably worn surfaces on the wood desk and nightstands. I put a towel over top bc they felt a little sticky but everything else was clean. Towels were fluffy, bed was clean. Service at check in was great with Marcelo and Danna, the welcome cocktail was much appreciated. I ate at the pool bar. My server, Tia, was great and super fun and friendly. The wings are VERY good. They do have walking paths to access the restaurants of the other hotels so you can easily find something to enjoy if you’re looking for an easier jaunt than the downtown experience. The shuttle is great but it is a plain white van so it’s a little difficult to identify among the other shuttle buses. Overall, solid stay, close to the airport for an easy departure, will gladly come back.
Hotel lobby was very nice. Room was clean, but very outdated and old, furnishings need replaced. The entire stay their was a "sewer" type odor, not sure if that is just the water in Key West or what, but would not stay here again. Not what was expected from a Hilton hotel. Spend a little of the super high pricing in the Key West area to refurbish the rooms.
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Key West for 4 nights - 3/2-3/6/2026. The rooms are very clean, location is ok but the customer service is fantastic. The people who work at the Hilton Garden Inn are exceptional as far as being helpful and friendly. And the concierge service is great. We spoke with both Terry and Barbie at the concierge desk and it was the best service we have gotten from any of the Hiltons that we have stayed at in Key West.
There are rooms with balconies, and the hotel is located right in front of a main road, so you’ll hear traffic, roosters, and sirens throughout the day. The fitness center is spacious and offers a good variety of equipment for solid workouts. The pool area is a highlight, with a bar that stays open until 9 p.m. I’d definitely recommend the wings, and the bartenders make amazing drinks. There’s also a hot tub to enjoy. The rooms themselves aren’t bad, but I did notice small roaches in mine—I killed about four during my 40-day stay. Housekeeping tends to clean later in the evening, so I had to request that my room be serviced before 4 p.m. since they were coming so late. Management was great, especially Mimi, who was very helpful. The roosters and chickens around the property are actually entertaining—they’re a true staple of Key West.
Stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Key West / The Keys Collection and honestly… solid choice if you want comfort without the chaos. The pros: The resort itself is really nice — 3 buildings, a good-sized pool, hot tub, and a pool bar with food service (always a win). Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. There’s a free shuttle to downtown every hour, which is clutch because Uber was running me about $25 one way and downtown parking is a nightmare ($6/hour with a 30-min minimum… $60/day adds up fast). You also get shared access with the two neighboring hotels — pools and restaurants included. From what other guests told me: this pool was the chill, low-key pool (older crowd, quieter vibes). One nearby property was more busy, and another leaned younger and louder. Nice to have options depending on your mood. Gym was solid with newer equipment. You can rent bikes or golf carts, and the hotel will even set you up for a beach day with coolers and chairs, which I thought was a great touch. Staff was fantastic — shoutout to Ryan, my pool bartender most of the week. Dude knows Key West food spots really well, and every place he recommended hit. The cons: Location-wise, it’s right at the US-1 entrance to the island and near the hospital, so there’s constant traffic and ambulances ?. And yes… the roosters ? are real. They’re protected, everywhere, and start crowing around 4:30am until about 9am. The hotel provides earplugs — which tells you everything you need to know. No free breakfast. Buffet is about $18, with cheaper options available. Grocery store is about a mile away and easy to get to. Rooms do come with a fridge and microwave, which helps. Bottom line: Great resort if you want a quieter place to stay, easy access to downtown without staying in the madness, and genuinely good service. Would absolutely stay here again. — belive me its good
This place is an absolute joke. I have stayed at better motels. Is this why I pay for Hilton honors ? The hotel is completely dilapidated and run down. As others in the reviews have pointed out , the staff does not care. When we arrived the sink was clogged. The shower had no hot water , there was a dead pigeon by the ice machine . We saw several employees notice it and just keep walking. The shelf in the shower is broken off and they used caulk to try to glue it back on. Did I mention they are charging Hilton prices ? Lastly , they have chickens running amuck of the property. They should make patrons aware BEFORE they book a trip here. We couldn't get any sleep from midnight till morning. The roosters kept crowing. They gave us these dinky ear plugs that didn't even work. If this is part of key West , again .. put that picture and warning on your site BEFORE patrons show up from out of town. Hilton , put on your site that you need earplugs to get sleep at this place , see how many bookings you get. Needless to say I will be calling Hilton to get a refund. UPDATE: After filing claim with Hilton corporate to bring all this to their attention, the management at this hotel made a pathetic attempt to claim, we never even stayed there. Instead of taking accountability and owning their problems, they decided to mitigate all responsibilities. So, where did the photos come from inside the room? What about our confirmation number from our stay? what a joke these people are. Needless to say, i reported this back to Hilton Corporate.
