Located in a tranquil, maritime-themed setting, this resort offers stunning waterfront views and a variety of complimentary activities like kayaking and paddleboarding, though modern rooms feature limited counter space.
Beautiful hidden gem in the Florida keys. This place is so peaceful, right on the water with a private beach. It’s the perfect spot if you are looking for a Caribbean experience in the heart of the Florida Keys. We will definitely be back. Staff is super friendly , check in went super quick. And you get a beautiful view of the sunset right from your balcony.
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The amenities were great, and the location is excellent—especially being right on the beachfront. The main reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the beach front area could use a bit more maintenance. There were visible weeds that could be cleaned up to make the view and overall atmosphere even more enjoyable. With a little more attention to that detail, the experience would be perfect. Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!
Excellent location with outstanding customer service at both reception and the restaurant. The rooms and common areas were immaculate and well maintained. The hotel features a superb pool and attractive surroundings, and offers complimentary water sports equipment for guests. It is an ideal place to relax, whether with family or alone. Our stay left a very strong impression—especially since we arrived late in the evening and were delighted by the view and atmosphere the following morning. Highly recommended. Two management-attention points: Schedule sewage pumping outside early-morning hours. The operation was noisy and produced unpleasant odors that spread across the property and pool area while guests were still sleeping and using the facilities. Offer an additional, lower-priced breakfast option or grab-and-go sandwiches. At over $20 per person the buffet felt expensive; we found affordable, tasty sandwiches 13–14 miles away and several guests complimented them. Introducing a similar, reasonably priced alternative would be appreciated by many guests.
The pictures don’t do this resort justice. They have the absolute best sunsets in the keys, especially the watching it at this resort. We had a waterfront room and we stepped out and were on the sand by the beach. Very clean rooms and very friendly staff. Definitely a bang for your buck! They also have 3 different pools that are fairly warm. If you’re hesitant to book here or thinking about it, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. They also have a restaurant/bar on site and it’s very delicious food with a big menu.
Great spot for kayaking and watching the sun set into the water!! Nice and relaxing property. Staff was super friendly and helpful!! Shout out to Diveen, (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) at the front desk, she was so very accommodating and great at making your stay an excellent one! There's a tennis court across the street in great condition for those interested, and if you don't have your own equipment, they will supply rackets/balls. Restaurant on property, open for all meal times. Parking is convenient and right near your room.
The rooms are amazing and kept very clean. I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony/ocean view, it is the most breath taking view ever! Service was great and parking was easy as there is a specific spot numbered just for you. The resort has a pier you can fish/swim off of and the beach area has chairs, hammocks, corn hole, and a large size chess game. Next door is a bar and grill which makes it super convenient if you want to have a drink and eat some dinner and not have to worry about driving! 12/10 for this hotel. Mainly because of the view!
We stayed here in 2022 & then again in 2025. I was highly disappointed in the fact that they no longer offered a free breakfast. The breakfast they had was amazing. The rooms were downsized - smaller refrigerator, no stove top, no chairs with a table, no sound machine. Bathroom towels were really cheap & scratchy, no hooks in bathroom or enough shelves in shower area for your shampoos ect. The Wi-Fi was very spotty. With all that said - the property was well maintained, beautiful views, really nice balcony, nice kayaking, nice bar/restaurant on the premises & nice pool area but no hot tub. They were under construction for a new pool bar area coming soon. I also will add that the sunsets are amazing at this location. And there is a carry out across the street which is convenient. Over all I would give it another go to stay here.
Amazing little resort! We loved our long weekend stay here, nice rooms right on the beach/water, and loved having kayaks available to use. Sunsets from the resort were gorgeous. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's in a very quiet location, great place to get away and relax. Highly recommend and can't wait to stay here again!
An unforgettable honeymoon stay! We spent one night of our honeymoon at the Lime Tree Bay Resort, and it was absolutely perfect. A huge shout-out to Andrea, the young team member who truly went above and beyond for us. When she realized that our original apartment was located next to a construction area, she immediately upgraded us—at no extra cost—to what must be the most beautiful apartment in the entire resort. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine effort to make our stay special turned a simple stopover into one of the most memorable moments of our honeymoon. Thanks to Andrea, we felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease from the moment we arrived. We couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, relaxing, and truly unforgettable experience in the Keys!
We picked this resort because we didn't want to feel like we were in the city, and it did not disappoint. There are three or four properties close by that make up the resort. We stayed in an apartment that included a full kitchen. We did have one problem when the toilets backed up into a shower, but plumbers were called and we were moved to a room next door for the rest of our stay, which ended up being an upgrade as the new room had a king size bed and a washer/dryer which was nice. There are use of kayaks, bikes, paddle boards and just need to sign a waiver for each day you want to use them. We kayaked to the North West of the resort and then snorkeled there, and also near the docs and saw many fish, a manta ray, and a local nurse shark. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating and go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. They have a small gift shop and we bought waterproof phone cases which we forgot to bring, but were a must have, so we were thankful they had them. We didn't use any of the pools, but they looked nice. Plenty of seats and hammocks available to lounge on. We went North to the Everglades one day, and down south to Key West on two days, and this was a nice central location. We came for an anniversary trip without our kids, but this would be a good family spot as well. And because we had mentioned our anniversary, our room had a nice decor touch added on our first night.
