Coconut Palm Inn is an amazing secret little hideaway hotel right on water. The grounds of the hotel are super well kept. The staff is just amazing. Big shout out to Tracey who is the manager! She is wonderful, sweet, and very accommodating. I called the hotel after staying 2 weeks in marathon wanting to extend the trip with my wife. After dealing with some other hotels on the phone I was so lucky to talk to Tracey and find this little gem. The hotel is on the bayside(no sargassum) and has two large piers and docks. They have a boat ramp right next to the hotel So it was super easy to drop my Seadoo trailer in and put both of our RXPXs right next to the dock that even had a covered area so they were baking in the sun all day. On the dock there is a fish cleaning station with power and water down there for larger boats. They have a great pool right by the water, palapa, hammocks, ping pong, corn hole and all sorts of great hang out areas. At night they get the fire pit going and leave out a snore station. Such a nice touch. In the morning they bring you a little basket of fruit and pastries and leave it outside your room. The rooms are all super cute with views of the water and doesn’t feel like a cookie cutter hotel. 10/10 recommend to anyone driving down the keys. Book here you won’t regret it

Coconut Palm Inn is a most welcoming, breathtaking place to stay, with so many amenities and excellent service! The property is well kept, with so many areas to relax and enjoy the views. If you have a boat, there are 2 docks w slips, we fished successfully from both. We paddle boarded and kyaked. Laid in a hammock and rally enjoyed the view of the coconut palms clouds and sky. Enjoyed the pool and tiki huts. Room with a really nice view, very comfortable!

Wife and I stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. Staff is super awesome and very helpful. Our room was very clean and I say probably one of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in. The decor was nice and the front porch for seating and shade made the stay with a cool breeze, ceiling fan along with a tv if needed. The beach is right out our door and docks to fish from with free rods to use from them which is a nice perk along with they sell bait also. There are places to get food very close, bars, restaurants, grocery stores and convenience stores. Beautiful view over the water and a wonderful view of the night sky full of palm trees. Say sponges, fish, jellyfish and conch shells with crabs crawling in them. I plan on coming back sometime for a weekend trip just to come back because it was worth it for peace and quiet, views and felt very local. Nice job to you all at Coconut!

We had an amazing stay at Coconut Palm Inn! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and right on the water with incredible sunsets every night. The complimentary muffins in the morning were delicious, and we loved the nightly s’mores by the fire pit. The grounds were always clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of places to relax and enjoy the view. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we were even upgraded, which made our trip extra special. We enjoyed spending time by the water, watching the boats, and taking in the tropical atmosphere. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the friendly cat who lives on the property. Seeing the cat around the hotel made the experience even more charming and memorable! We loved our stay so much that we decided to extend our trip for an extra night! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Coconut Palm Inn to anyone visiting the Keys.

I have to admit that is so far the best place I have been. It is a cozy vacation hotel full of happy people. The service of Tracy de manager of the hotel (she went far and beyond for my wife birthday even adding a bouquet flowers to the note). Veronica received us with a complementary drink and also lead us to the room. The rest of the staff were amazing, one of the set up the coffee station 20 min before the opening time just for me. I do not have enough words to appreciate what they all did for us and make my wife birthday more special. We will be back to this hidden gem in islamorada. Great great job to everyone ?

My daughter got married here last November and I have officially declared it one of the best places to stay, it is pure paradise. I can’t say enough about the wonderful, kind, genuine staff, they are all amazing. The peace you feel here is like no other, whether sipping coffee, sitting poolside, swinging in a hammock , reading on the dock in an Adirondack chair , you will feel the relaxation and embrace it! An absolute must visit !!

We stayed at CPI for my sister's wedding and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The property is meticulously kept and made an absolutely stunning setting for her wedding. Our teenagers loved the pool, ping pong and fishing from the dock. Our favorite...the breathtaking sunsets! The staff were incredibly friendly and went over the top in ensuring we enjoyed our stay. Would absolutely return for a vacation stay in the future! Thank you for making my sister's wedding a day we will never forget!!

We had our wedding at the Coconut Palm Inn in January 2026, and renting out the entire venue was hands down the best decision we made. From the very beginning, Carin was fantastic—responsive, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. We even had to change our date, and she handled it seamlessly without any issues. One of the things we loved most was being able to host everything in one place. We held our rehearsal on Friday and all of our wedding events on Saturday, which made the entire weekend feel relaxed and cohesive. Our friends and family also loved staying onsite—it made everything so much easier logistically and allowed everyone to truly enjoy the experience together. The layout of the property created such a beautiful flow for the day. We had our cocktail hour and rehearsal on the north beach, the ceremony and reception on the south beach, and dinner in a separate area of the south beach. Even though everything was in one location, each part of the celebration felt unique and special. Tracy was also amazing throughout the entire process. When some of our family members got stuck in Florida due to snowstorms up north, the team went above and beyond to accommodate them—helping extend their stays and ensuring everyone was comfortable. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Coconut Palm Inn for a wedding or special event.

I don’t want to give this place a good review because I’d love for it to remain a hidden gem, but they also should be known about! We recently stayed here while diving with Islamorada Dive Center, and wow is this place amazing!! It is not often that you find a place that is better than the photos online and let me tell you CPI is. We stayed in a bayside cabana and loved it! The atmosphere is relaxed,others staying were great to talk to and the real star of the show is Coco. We will definitely be back and hope to take advantage of the kayaks next time!
