Hotel was awesome. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with a nice view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool and bar are great! Hotel is in a great location. Proposed to my fiancé here on the private beach - the hotel allowed a setup on the beach, and front desk even gave us free champagne after and lent us a vase for flowers!

We had the best experience at The Capitana! The communication before and check in process was great. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. The pool and beachy area were great, and the Tiki Bar service was excellent. Loved having the coffee and breakfast on site. Would highly recommend!

I had never heard of this hotel chain before and was pleasantly surprised when myself and friends arrived for our three day weekend getaway. This place is absolutely beautiful and very clean. We shared a room with two queen beds, a small, wraparound couch, kitchenette, and large bathroom. It was perfect for the 3 of us. We had a balcony view of the pool and Tiki bar. Our mornings were spent on the balcony, drinking coffee and watching the world go by. It was perfect. The Staff was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. The food at the tiki bar was amazing and the drinks were poured by a very friendly bartender named Cassie. The wait staff at the pool were very attentive and in the heat of the day came around with free, frozen grapes and popsicles. There’s even a Sandy beach on the property with cabanas I highly recommend this hotel and I’m looking forward to returning next year!!

If you value cleanliness, kind hospitality, friendly staff and good amenities, you will not be disappointed here. After staying at some overpriced fancy hotels in the area which did not deliver on their promises, this one ticks all the boxes. The rooms are very spacious, we even had a small kitchen, a sofa, and a table. Most rooms overlook the lovely pool. The staff is smiling and friendly. Parking was included in the 35usd resort fee. Unlimited bottles of water available in the mini pantries on the floor. Small coffee shop inside the hotel. Nice pool, great views of the bay. Everything very clean and new. No complaints.

Location-wise, everything you need is about a 10-minute drive, and it’s about a 40-minute walk to Duval Street if you’re up for it. The hotel provides coolers stocked with bottled water and ice, which was SUPER convenient. The pool area is beautiful, and there’s even a small beach right on the property. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily, which made the stay feel extra comfortable. The room was spacious with a gorgeous view. One of the best parts was how easy it was to communicate with staff- you can text them anytime with questions and they respond quickly. They also have self-service laundry machines, which is super convenient for longer stays. The front desk even helped us book a last minute golf cart. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed 4 nights in Room 222. Large and amazing view. Breakfast cafe great every morning. Large heated pool fantastic. Location perfect for us away from Duval but 10 min Uber ride only when we headed out. We would stay again IF we ever came back to Key West. PS. Water temp and pressure in bathroom sink needs addressing otherwise great stay.

New building with comfy rooms, nice pool and friendly staff. Housekeeping service even left chocolates on our pillows one night. ? We had a meal at the tiki lounge that we good, but not exceptional. We enjoyed using our second floor balcony almost every day. We enjoyed being outside of downtown, even though we had to drive most places. However, the downtown trolley service has a stop exactly across the street from here, which we used one of our days in Key West.

Very happy with our stay here last week. Everything is maintained very well, our villa was very clean, and the service overall was great. Nice pool and little beach area with games and a bar at the end. The family loved it would visit again

On a previous visit to Key West we stayed in town. This stay at the Capitana was a much more relaxing vacation - staying by the pool for most of the afternoons and going to town for dinner. Rooms were well maintained with beautiful water view . The breakfast sandwiches and muffins at the market cafe were very good, reasonably priced and good portions. Same for the poolside lunches .We enjoyed lunch there each day. The hot tub was large enough to hold 10 + people comfortably but there were never more than 5-6 people in at the same time and mostly only 2 others . The waterfront beach was peaceful and relaxing and plenty of lounge chairs available. If you don’t mind walking it’s a 30 minute walk to town and although we didn’t rent bikes, they are available onsite to rent and it would be a quick bike ride into town. We mostly took Lyft or Uber which were readily available and inexpensive . Hydration stations with bottled water free of charge are on every floor. I wish they would have water stations to refill water bottles vs so many plastic bottles though. Maybe provide each guest one upon check-in??? I would definitely stay here again.
